We are RITUAL MASSAGE & BEAUTY LTD (‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), a company registered in the United Kingdom at 13 East Street, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 4HH. We operate the website https://ritualmassageandbeauty.co.uk/ (the ‘Site’) and related services (collectively, the ‘Services’).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Legal Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our Services.

1. Our Services

Our Services allow you to book massage and beauty appointments online. The information provided is not intended for distribution or use in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local laws or regulations.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

We own or license all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all content, functionality, and designs. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. User Representations

By using the Services, you warrant that:

  • You are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

  • You will provide accurate information.

  • You will not use the Services for any unauthorized purpose.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Registration: You may create an account to manage your bookings and personal preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.2 Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4.3 Delete Your Account: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, please contact us at info@ritualmassageandbeauty.co.uk with the subject line “Delete My Account”. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with our obligations under UK GDPR.

4.4 Data Retention After Deletion: Please note that certain data may be retained after account deletion where we are required to do so by law, including for accounting, tax, or fraud prevention purposes. Any retained data will be held only for as long as legally necessary.

4.5 Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Legal Terms.

5. Purchases and Payment

5.1 We accept Visa and Mastercard for payments. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Services.

5.2 All treatments must be paid for in full at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

5.3 Refunds: Payments for treatments are non-refundable except in the circumstances set out in our Booking and Cancellation Policy (Section 6) or where required by law under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Booking and Cancellation Policy

6.1 Bookings:

  • All treatments can be booked directly through our website.

  • Multiple treatments can be booked in one session.

  • We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes early to ensure a smooth experience.

6.2 Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the treatment cost.

  • Cancellations made with less than 4 hours’ notice will be charged at 100% of the treatment cost.

  • If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

6.3 Late Arrivals:

  • If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the full treatment cost.

  • We will always do our best to accommodate you, but punctuality is essential to ensure you receive your full treatment.

6.4 Changes and Rescheduling:

  • Changes to bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

  • You can reschedule by cancelling your existing appointment and booking a new time slot, provided you give more than 24 hours’ notice.

  • A cancellation link is included in your appointment confirmation email. You can also manage your bookings through your account.

  • Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the cancellation charges outlined in section 6.2.

6.5 Cancellations by Ritual:

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or the option to rebook at no additional cost.

7. Gift Cards and Vouchers

7.1 Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable, except where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7.2 Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
7.3 Bookings must be made before the gift card or voucher expiry date, but the appointment can take place after this date.
7.4 Gift vouchers can be used as part-payment towards any treatment. Any remaining balance can be paid using another method.

8. Discounts and Promotions

8.1 Discount codes and vouchers can be used for one or more transactions and must be applied during checkout.
8.2 Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
8.3 Discounts must meet minimum purchase requirements, if applicable.
8.4 If your discount code is not working, please ensure it is still valid and that you are meeting the minimum purchase requirements.

9. Health and Safety

9.1 Consultation Forms:

  • A comprehensive consultation form must be completed before the first massage treatment or if health conditions change.

  • The form includes personal details, emergency contact information, health history, current medical conditions, massage preferences, areas of focus, and informed consent acknowledging treatment risks.

  • The consultation form helps therapists tailor treatments, ensure client safety, and maintain legal compliance.

9.2 Patch Tests:

Yes, a patch test is recommended for specific treatments such as waxing, facials, chemical peels, and any procedure involving active ingredients or potential allergens. The patch test is carried out at least 48 hours before your appointment.

It is particularly important if:

  • You are undergoing the treatment for the first time.

  • You have sensitive skin or known allergies.

  • The treatment involves strong chemicals or new formulations.

Skipping a patch test can increase the risk of discomfort or irritation. If required, you will be informed when booking, and our team will guide you through the process.

10. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

  • Unauthorized data collection or commercial use of the Services.

  • Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the Services.

  • Uploading malicious content or impersonating others.

11. User Contributions

By submitting content to the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute that content.
